Windows NT 3.51 with "Newshell 2" installed. Basically what it does it brings the shell that was eventually introduced in Windows 95. And it is an official Microsoft download called "Shell Technology Preview Update," which was only available to MSDN and CompuServe users back then. This version of the preview happens to be the last one before RTM. More info here.

Desktop is still running Windows, I haven't had the time to devote to getting moved over to Linux. Kinda don't want to muck with it, just want to game. It's a really basic desktop, I've realized as I've gotten older and I've had less time to do things I've let the customization stuff fall behind.

Simple and untouched UIs like this are too greatly taken for granted. One of my best friends uses 10 LTSC and never changed the UI at all beyond a black background, and cleaning up the taskbar a bit. He just gets stuff done and uses a lot of older software that he has physical install media for.
